We wake the girls in the morning for family scripture study and prayer. Katie would sleep until noon if I let her, but she also wouldn't go to bed until midnight. Anyway, we woke up this morning to have scripture study and she slept right through it, then we said it was time to pray, and we found her like this when we finished the prayer...I guess its getting through, right?

Memorial Day Weekend
I'm a little late, but we went and visited David's mom on Memorial Day Weekend. We had planned on swimming, and going to parks...but the weather did not cooperate. So, the girls ended up coloring and playing with Grandma-Nana. David and I did a lot of shopping, and not so much buying. We did get a bike for Rachel. She loves it, and Katie is excited to have Rachel's old bike...Katie was sick of the tricycle.

Thank Heavens for The Dollar Store
Oh Brother....in law!
This is a rebuff for my usually kind and sensitive brother-in-law Michael....who made a very impertinent comment a few days ago that there was bribery afoot in my home. So, my post this morning is very vain, but flattering for me. I took this picture yesterday. Let Michael not ever doubt, David often wishes there were much more of me, and right now I'm a knock out. Love ya Mike!

Katie's Fascination
We do not have a lot of jewelery at our house. Rachel has just never been interested in putting it on, and I don't where it at all. I forget my wedding ring most of the time. Well, our cousin Brooke has a lot of necklaces and she just got a new game called "Pretty, Pretty, Princess". This was a hit with Katie and she is fascinated with jewelery! This is Katie all decked out in her Princess attire.

A Gentle Hint
So, this is me with my honest five year old. She ask me the other day if I was going to have a baby, which was not very flattering. Rachel really wants a baby brother...(she thinks we have enough girls in our family)...but I started thinking that I have really not had a steady exercise routine since college. My weight usually falls off after the babies, and I've really never had a problem...but all things considered, I thought I should have a healthy living lifestyle. So, this is my third week, being a dedicated member of a gym. I force myself to 30 minutes of aerobic activity, and then I get to lift weights...which has always been my favorite. I can't tell a difference physically, but I feel better anyway...thanks to Rachel.
