Another One Bites the Dust

Rachel has been wiggling this tooth for the last couple months. I tried to yank it out last week, because she plays with it so much. She took a bath tonight, and when she got done drying herself, she started shouting, "Its gone, its gone!" She was so excited, but we could not find the tooth. We looked all around where she had got dressed and it wasn't anywhere. I finally found it on Katie's bed...and I have no idea how it got there. Anyway, she ran out to David working on the sheds and showed him her new trick of blowing through her missing tooth and telling him now she will talk funny...I think she has a friend with a missing tooth who lisps. Its weird, but I remember that odd feeling of being able to blow through my teeth. Ah, the memories!

Katie's Korner

We're getting into our new house, and I'm having a heck of a time deciding where to put things. I know what I want, its just finding the right things. So, Katie thought she had some good ideas to decorate, and I started to make her feel bad by not going for her ideas. We made a compromise. She got her own corner to decorate, and I got the rest of the house. I love what she chose to put on her desk: her name, a block of wood that says, "I am a Child of God" (upside down), her tithing/fun/savings box, and an old craft I did 15 years ago at YW camp.

After that picture, Katie wanted me to take a picture of her bed, and Sarah jumped on to show how comfortable it is!

And finally, Katie wanted to take a picture of us. She is getting good!

Good Enough To Eat

I make bread weekly, and I really like to make it. I enjoy working on the skill, having my children help me, and I think it tastes so much better than what is in the store. We use it for everything: sandwiches, toast, bread and milk, cinnamon bread, and our personal favorite...french toast.

Last week I made the ugliest bread in the world. I don't know what happened...and I should have taken a picture because this week I made the prettiest bread I have ever done. It usually tastes pretty good anyway, but this time it looked like it would taste good!

Father's Day

My children have a wonderful father. I am so grateful for David. He takes time to play, teach, and love each of our little ones. Here are some pictures of the kids with the man we love the most.

This Father's Day weekend, my dad came up to help David with the sheds. I love watching two men I love so much work together. They are the greatest! Happy Father's Day!

I dreamed a dream...

Saturday, David spent the day building his dream. The Shed. It looks amazing, and I'm sure he'll have it finished this next week.
Here are a few pictures of what he's accomplished!
